Introduction

Rock County's High Point is located in Section 29 of Denver Township. I visited there on November 13, 2004, after completing Nobles County.

Parking

I parked on the downslope of the road.

The Trail Head

The Trail

I crossed under the gate and proceeded up hill. I encountered the Bench Mark about 50 feet from the top and about 10 vertical feet below it.

There is also a radio tower, a building, some junk and old cement blocks in the high point area.

I returned the way I came, and back under the gate, six minutes round trip..

The Route Out

As it was nearing sundown, I was anxious to get to my next county, so I drove north to the county line, then to Edgerton, where I filled my gast tank, then on to Murray County's High Point.
